Crackle-glazed green. Fired in Chiang Mai the way it has been since Sukhothai.
Celadon takes its colour from iron in the glaze and its crackle from the glaze and body cooling at different rates. The crazing is deliberate and will darken with use, which is the whole appeal.
Made in Chiang Mai. Handwash — a dishwasher will force the crackle open and stain it grey rather than amber.
